These are adorable and very lightweight, however they were quite stiff coming out of the box but loosened up after a decent walk. I can see how walking for a long period for the first time wearing them would cause a blister in the back because the heel is the stiffest part. I am confident that they will continue to break in with more, longer walks and I can’t say enough how truly adorable these shoes are! They are fairly warm as well, they kept my feet warm with wool socks underneath in 55 degree weather.
