I always have a hard time with boots because my calfs are bigger than most (16 inches). This boot fits snag (not too snug) around my calfs! You can adjust the velcro strap as well, but if your calfs are over 16 inches-I would not recommend. I wear a size 9 US and ordered the size 9. Amazon suggested 8 bases on what I have purchased in the past, but I'm glad I stuck with 9 because they fit great! My foot is a little on the narrow side. Plus, I was worried about crazy return costs that I read in other reviews, so I'm glad I didn't has to mess with that! These boots are beautiful and I hope to wear them for years to come!
